Too often, I’m more concerned about the external tidiness my relationships, public ministry, and quiet times instead of being vulnerable, admitting that there’s a bigger mess underneath than I’d like to admit.

Too often, I’m more concerned about the external tidiness my relationships, public ministry, and quiet times instead of being vulnerable, admitting that there’s a bigger mess underneath than I’d like to admit.
Session 1:
When I think that I’m further up the ladder of holiness than others, I am essentially praising God that I am not like other people. I should be begging God for mercy instead.

I think with blogging, the same can be true. Sometimes I blog just to look cool and sound smart. Other times I really do have a passion to share something that grips me, but more often than not, I wonder, “Will they like what I write?”
So often, good things become ultimate things. Jesus died for social networking sins, too. O praise him for that!
