About Me

I follow Jesus. I’m a husband, father, leader, writer, and melodramatic Husker football fan. I’m married to my lovely wife Carly and we have four awesome kids and a Goldendoodle. We call Lincoln, Nebraska, home.

I help lead a non-profit that mobilizes the church to care for vulnerable kids. Before that, I served as a local church pastor and a campus minister.

Now, if you’re looking around on a Christian blog, you might be wondering, What kind of Christian is he?

I’m the Jesus-kind of Christian.

I’m not much for labels and don’t fit neatly into any one theological (or political) box. Read a bit from this site and you’ll figure that out soon enough.

With about 1.14 billion websites out there, it’s a miracle you found mine. I’m glad you stopped by. Thanks for reading.

This is me–the one with sunblock caught in my beard.
