Tebow Gets Some Love From a Female, Pro-Choice Columnist

Sally Jenkins writes a great column about how ridiculous it is for liberals to lash out against Tim Tebow’s upcoming Superbowl ad.  Here’s a taste:

Tebow’s 30-second ad hasn’t even run yet, but it already has provoked “The National Organization for Women Who Only Think Like Us” to reveal something important about themselves: They aren’t actually “pro-choice” so much as they are pro-abortion. Pam Tebow has a genuine pro-choice story to tell. She got pregnant in 1987, post-Roe v. Wade, and while on a Christian mission in the Philippines, she contracted a tropical ailment. Doctors advised her the pregnancy could be dangerous, but she exercised her freedom of choice and now, 20-some years later, the outcome of that choice is her beauteous Heisman Trophy winner son, a chaste, proselytizing evangelical.

Thanks for posting that. Good to hear Tebow still hasn’t stop walking with God after his hopes and dreams were done with. Hope things are going well Pruch. God bless brother.

Obama’s desire to repeal “Don’t ask, don’t tell” can actually help to fulfill the “days of Lot” (Luke 17, cf. Gen. 19), the fulfillment of which will hurry up the return of the Heavenly Commander-in-Chief who will make all things straight (pun intended)! Interesting Google articles include “Obama Supports Public Depravity,” “Separation of Raunch and State” and “David Letterman’s Hate Etc.”
For some dessert visit Yahoo and type in “Obama Avoids Bible Verses.”
PS – You’re invited to use these new pro-life slogans: “Unborn babies should have the right to keep and bear arms – and legs and ears and eyes etc.!” and “Unborn babies should have the same right to be born alive that abortionists had!”

Yar, I be concur’n. Tebow’s ad was bland but fer me the controversy be stemming from the fact that CBS denied the United Church of Christ airtime in the Super Bowl in 2004. Why let Focus through and not the UCC? Because there be a recession and money be talking. Plus, maybe, just maybe, progressive Christians have no voice in current mainstream society. If i be squawking that I’m pro-choice and Christian would ye say that i could be one or the other but not both? hypothetically speaking of course.

Tebow should be celebrated by feminists as he is the quarterback who ain’t be docking in every port he comes across and then be call’n ’em scurvy wenches. be seemingly like a double-standard to me. Good article! Even me parrot concurs.

p.s. I be having no idea what Darlene be scrawling about.
