As you make your way around the blog, feel free to comment and start conversation. We want to have fun here, but even fun needs regulations.
Here are the general commenting rules:
- Keep the conversation intelligent, edifying, and uplifting.
- Stay on topic. You can email me for general comments.
- Do not attack individuals, but rather respond to them in love.
- Absolutely no profanity.
There are people who comment just to stir up trouble. Here are my guidelines for responding to those comments. I commend them to you, the serious commenter:
- Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you; reprove a wise man, and he will love you (Proverbs 9:8).
- Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest you be like him yourself. Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes (Proverbs 26:4-5).
- Do not give dogs what is holy, and do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you (Matthew 7:6).
Finally, you know the drill: I have the right to delete any comments that aren’t within the parameters above. There aren’t many rules, so they should be easy to keep. Also, I may or may not respond to every comment made on this blog. Be assured that I read them all, but not every one needs a follow up comment.
